Color is a very important issue in the visually-based industry of film and even in some aspects of the music industry. Color can be an issue when dealing with web-design, for our own personal page, color of a promotional picture we are producing, or the color spectrum that is captured in a video we are producing. The two color spectrums that CHE is most concerned with are the Red, Green, Blue Color spectrum and the CMYK Color Spectrum.
In the digital world of color the Red, Green, Blue (RGB) Color is the dominate spectrum. This will be important to CHE when dealing with promotional pictures and any videos we produce. When dealing with our clients, it is important to tell them that we deal with the RGB spectrum, and explain to them the difference between RGB and CMYK. The main difference is that RGB Color are primary colors whereas CMYK are secondary colors. When color-correcting videos and using any type of after-effects are used for photos or videos, RGB spectrum will be used. If we decided or are required to print any photos, it will be necessary for us to convert the color to CMYK. It is important that this transfer is done carefully to make sure our product doesn't get messed up.
Although this hexadecimal system is mainly used in HTML and CSS Color Range, it is still something that the staff of CHE should understand, especially the web-developer of our site. The hexadecimal system is a six-digit, three0byte system that references color. Each hex triplet has 6 values, each value ranging from 0-9 and/or A-F.
